Hi, my name is Edmar. I am a recent graduate of West Coast College of Massage Therapy, with additional education in kinesiology and sport sciences. Throughout my training, I have worked as a bodyworker and developed a thoughtful, adaptable approach to care that is centered around movement, function, and overall wellness.
My treatments are tailored to each individual and may incorporate a variety of techniques depending on your needs, including Swedish massage, deeper tissue work, mobility-focused treatment, and general recovery-based care. I take a holistic view of the body and aim to provide hands-on treatment that helps reduce tension, support recovery, and improve how you feel in daily life.
Outside of the clinic, I have been involved in breakdancing for over 20 years and was ranked in the top 21 in Canada while qualifying for the 2024 Olympics. My background also includes strength training, yoga, calisthenics, plyometrics, martial arts, wrestling, and track and field. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for body awareness, athletic performance, and recovery.
My own experience with sports, injuries, and rehabilitation inspired me to pursue this path. What began as a personal interest in healing grew into a passion for helping others feel better, move better, and take care of their bodies with confidence. I look forward to being part of your wellness journey.
